Welcome to UK Public Affairs Council

UKPAC is pleased to launch its new website and register. The register contains details of organisations and individuals providing lobbying services and the organisations on whose behalf they were lobbying during the period 1 September to 30 November 2011. For further information please see "About the UKPAC Register".

The UK Public Affairs Council (UKPAC) promotes and upholds effective self-regulation for those professionally engaged in public affairs.

Born out of the Public Administration Select Committee's recommendation for there to be a public register of lobbyists, UKPAC was created by three representative bodies in the industry: the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC); the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR); and the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA)*. Other bodies may join UKPAC if they wish. UKPAC is overseen by a board comprising three independent members, including the Chairman, and representatives of each of the industry bodies.

If you are seeking information about an organisation or individual engaged in public affairs practice, please contact the industry bodies.

* On 16 December 2011, the PRCA resigned as a member of UKPAC.
